Enquire about a bequest donation today. It's easy.
What is a bequest?
A bequest is a financial term describing the act of giving assets such as stocks, jewellery, cash or property to individuals or organisations through the provisions of a will or estate plan.
Bequests can be made to family members, friends, institutions or charitable organisations.
As bequests are generally enacted through a will, it is important to consult a solicitor or other legal adviser to ensure that your instructions are clear and unambiguous.
If you wish to make a bequest in favour of the Gosnells Community Men’s Shed Inc. it is suggested that you ring the office on 9398 4064 or email us to arrange an appointment to discuss your intentions prior to entering into a legal arrangement.
Any bequest in favour of our Shed should be general in nature, however, if a particular purpose is being considered, it is important to discuss with Shed representatives prior to proceeding.
Bequests are a wonderful way of ensuring the work and facilities of the Shed continue to thrive.

Why donate to our Shed?

There are several ways to look at this question.
From a management perspective we believe we have a strong track record in maintaining a healthy set of accounts with the sustainability of the organisation paramount in our decision-making.
From a community perspective, we believe that Men’s Sheds generally provide great value for each dollar spent as we assist in the local community. In our case, the mental and physical health benefits of belonging and attending our Shed are outstanding.
We have no paid employees, there are no benefits available for members other than the usual benefit of belonging to a great organisation.
