Our Shed & Mental Health
Our Shed supports a number of initiatives aimed at helping members in our community experiencing mental health issues.
We are involved with the R U OK and the Act Belong Commit programs.
Speakers at our regular Health Forums include topics relevant to mental health issues.

Disabled Access
The Shed has good access for people with disabilities. Where a carer is required, the carer must remain with the disabled person at all times. Due to Insurance requirements, carers from carer organisations must have a copy of the carer organisation's certificate of insurance with them at all times while visiting the Shed. For insurance cover, membership fees apply to carers who are family or friends. A policy document outlining arrangements applying for membership for disabled persons is available at the Shed office.
Inclusion Policy
We make every effort to include males 18 years and older in the activities offered by the Shed. Our Code of Conduct is to ensure that all members are prepared to respect their fellow members and contribute to the harmony of the Shed.
People with disabilities are welcomed provided they meet certain basic requirements.
A policy document outlining arrangements applying to disable persons interested in applying for membership is available at the Shed office.
Activities
We are a lot more than a woodworking club. We consider ourselves a "club of clubs" where we have a wide variety of workshops, social groups, fitness activities, outings, community projects plus a lot more.
